The days have been getting shorter and faster in elk grove for me. I still can’t believe in 15 days i’m leaving this place to take the big jump of being on my own and making my career in the air force. Physically I’m too prepared for basic training but mentally its really debatable. Some days I care less about thing and be pumped up to leave right at that moment but on most days I don’t even want  to leave because of my relationships here. As the remaining days of my stay here I can really see who my true friends are and who’s really important to me. I couldn’t be any happier with my girlfriend but it bugs me how I found my ideal girlfriend at this point in my life where we both know we’re going to break up due to the fact that we don’t want to hold each other back. Everybody knows that you can’t give a 100% of yourself to the other person in a long distance relationship. I care too much for her that I think this will be the best choice so she could enjoy life to the fullest. I find it really funny how some things ends up for me. I’m even going to miss my own birthday since i’m going to be in basic training when it does happen. oh well, in two weeks i’m going to be tested in every aspect of my body and i’m going to be ready for it. For the last few days before I leave i’m going to force my self to be ready for anything so i wouldn’t be mentally beat up left to right by my training officer.
